Recommended Cycle Routes

E-mail Stampa PDF

Extensive alluvional forests, castles, churches and farms are dozens of stages of a process that enables the cyclists to discover a still extraordinary region just outside Milan where signs of ancient history characterizes still timeless horizons located at the center of a bet that speaks of territorial sustainable economy, nature conservation and quality of life of the local and regional communities.

The main route consists of 65 km of paved or off-road roads running among the edge of the Pleistocene terrace of the Ticino Valley on the right bank of the Blue River, while other routes offer  pleasant variations on the same theme.

Our Association provides some useful basic information you can download. It helps you to learn to know the extraordinary and unexpected land resources and to plan a tour along the “La Via dei Cairoli” perhaps enjoying at the same time the tasty traditional local cuisine or attending one of the many events animating the weekends and the evenings in Ticino's region.

It is more than just an invitation to travel, it's better than a pleasant discovery, it's more exciting than a close encounter with one of the wild inhabitants of the woods: it is an invitation to take part in a regional workshop focused on the search of our origins and most of all of our future and ultimately to a real search of ourselves.

Each of us can be a leader in this challenge.
We wish you a good attendance. Have a good trip!
